Our families have a deep-rooted history in Winnebago County, dating back to the early 1900’s. Local businesses are part of our personal heritage as well as our business legacy. We have shopped and dined at local businesses, some for nearly 50 years and value the personal experience that local business offer, treasuring many memories through the years. We support other independent business owners whenever possible, keeping our dollars right here at home to ensure that our favorite vendors will be here for a long time to come. Our owner’s father says, “It’s good business to do business with a local business.” He’s right.

History

Service Security Technologies, Inc. started in 2000 and incorporated in 2003. Our experts have deep-rooted experience in the security, electronics & bank equipment industry, dating back to the early 1980′s. From the beginning, our company mission has been to provide the highest-quality, most user-friendly product solutions and expert service to prevent problems; and when there are problems, to “fix them right the first time”. We are fortunate to have a team of talented professionals to strive to achieve this mission each and every day. Service Security Technologies, Inc. began with financial institutions as our customer base. Through the years, we have expanded into the commercial, retail and residential sectors. Thanks to our customers, we outgrew our original Machesney Park office and, in spring of 2011, we moved to a new location in Loves Park, Illinois, more than doubling our office and shop space.
